About Me

Hi!

As you might have guessed, my name is Shawn Sörbom and this is my little corner of the Internet. I find that in order to fully comprehend life, one needs to write a few things down – and that’s why I’m here. I fancy myself an amateur philosopher, a gamer, a burgeoning political commentator and an all-around great guy. Of course, all of those things deserve writing about…well, except maybe the last one. But since you’re here I’m going to tell you anyway.

So who am I?

I am a Graduate of Loyola Marymount University,  and former law clerk. I enjoy tinkering with computers in general, and experimenting with Linux in particular. Beyond that, I seek out local adventure everywhere, especially aboard public transit networks. But most of all, I think — alot.

In fact, thinking is why I’m here. Thus far, my time in academia has been one of the most transformative periods of my life. Though my schooling is done, I came away from it with the realization that I wanted to keep learning about as much as I possibly could. It is in that spirit which I brought this website into existence. I think about a wide array of topics, and it is my hope that by interacting with the various things I learn, I can preserve some of the insight I accumulate.

If any of this sounds interesting to you, stay a while, leave a note, or just keep reading.
